Our greatest asset is our qualified, experienced and mature educators who have been part of the Care for Kindies family for many years.
Margaret Street has a charm all its own, with two separate cottages that create a unique learning environment. One cottage is dedicated entirely to preschool, giving older children the perfect space to prepare for the leap to school with confidence. Our long-term educators – many of whom have been here for decades – bring stability, warmth, and deep connections with our families. Our curriculum is designed to follow each child’s passions, so learning is always joyful and meaningful. And with chef-prepared meals every day, bodies and minds are equally well nourished.
Our Margaret Street service comprises two beautiful cottages next door to one another. Children aged 0-4 are cared for in one cottage, with activities that stimulate their senses and develop their social skills, while pre-schoolers aged 4-6 years are cared for in the cottage next door. Our pre-school cottage offers an intensive, structured early education program with fun activities that prepare them for their schooling years ahead. Both cottages contain interactive Smart Boards, to enhance learning and allow children to discover the world around them.

Holistic approach to learning based on three teaching practices including Reggio Emilia, providing individualised learning to cater for each child’s social, emotional, physical and academic needs.
Fresh seasonal meals (morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea) made by our onsite chef. You can also take home these delicious meals so you can take a few nights off cooking dinner for the kids!
You can relax knowing we supply nappies, wipes and linen. Health, hygiene, cleanliness and safety are our number one priority. New families will also receive a first day pack - something little from us to take with you on your child’s first day.
Belinda has been the Centre Director at Care for Kindies Margaret Street since 2007. Belinda holds a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) and has been working in the Early Childhood sector since 2001. As of 2022, she has also taken on the role of Centre Director at Care for Kindies Seymour Parade.
Belinda is a mother of two daughters and has had a strong passion for working with children since a young age. She is also passionate about cooking & building a creative and inspiring learning environment. Belinda is well-loved by educators, children and families alike.
Belinda and the team of educators at Margaret Street have worked hard to create a warm, relaxing setting that is family orientated and focuses on the individual needs of all children.
